The World Cyber Games organisers have confirmed the official dates for this years Grand Final event in the USA.

Unlike the previous two WCG events, which both took place in November, this years edition will start on the 30th of September and end on the 3rd of October. So far there have been nine gaming titles announced, with Counter-Strike still remaining in the spotlight.

KODE5 have finally revealed that the 2010 Global Finals will be held in Peru from December 3rd to 5th, 2010. Taking place at the famed Compupalace Tech Center in Miraflores, the world’s gaming elite will unite to compete for a bevy of cash and prizes.

For those who don`t know, KODE5 masses gamers in 16 countries in a series of regional events to find the best gamers from around the world. The best then fly to an undisclosed location to square off against the world’s gaming elite.

From the 7th to 11th of April the Gadget Show Live takes place in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

The Electronic Sports League (ESL) is there with thrilling live matches from the British ESL Pro Series. Some of the best Counter-Strike 1.6 and Quake Live pro-gamers in Europe will compete with each other.

With 5 expert panelists and and votes from 10 top teams, the top 10 ranking aims to bring us an accurate idea on the current top 10 in Europe.

After a victory at the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 the first weekend of March, the Swedes from fnatic once again top the European rankings, ahead of Reason Gaming and Power Gaming.

Three new teams have also entered the ranking: Infinity Skills, Infused and corgz.

Every month you can win €900 in prize money by playing Starcraft II on the ESL.
Every week €100 is up for grabs for the winner of the Saturday Cup.
The top players of Go4SC2 Cups on Saturdays and Wednesdays earn points towards qualifying for the monthly final with €500 for the winner.
