Hello, my name is Gary Millar aka vorty, I’m currently the team captain for Epsilon eSports Battlfield Bad Company 2 team
What is your Opinion about Game?Is it good for competitive scene?
I personal think this game is great, a breath of fresh air from battlefield 2 and although I have only played the beta I feel I have seen enough to know ill be playing this all 2010 onwards.
For the competitive scene I see this game being really big, an early indication of this was the EA Masters beta cup which attracted around 90 8v8 teams in only a few days which has led to a 64 team tournament.
From what I have seen so far the teams are a mix of BF2, CoD4 and BF2142 which is very interesting and should make for some very competitive teams.
Who is the situation of team this moment?
Right now we are using the beta cup hosted by EA Masters to get a team in shape and ready for the game release, this is of course a hard job because everyone is new to the game but in a way its very exciting. We have some very impressive players in the squad and will of course be watching the other squads participating in this tournament for any new talent.
Are you believe that salarys will help Epsilon to create the Best Team?
Of course, any current or up and coming player in the eSport world would love to earn money doing something they love and especially if Epsilon are offering this at the start of the game it will attract the very best players available and in time build the best team in this game.
Money of course is just an incentive, the right character and motivation is needed from the player and the team in order to produce the right results.
Is rooster closed?
No, the rosters will be open for a while because as I said it’s a new game and it will take time for the best players to start to rise above the rest at which point I’m sure Epsilon would be interested. No team is perfect and there is always room for improvement so it’s our job to make sure we make the right moves and keep the squad as competitive as it can be.
What is Team’s Objectives?
We of course want to win every competition on and offline for this game and produce the best team in this game, currently we feel we have the right management and direction in place to achieve this, only time will tell.
Are there any places for other players?
Yes of course, the team is still new and after the current Beta cup we will have more of an idea of what player exactly is needed and also when the game is released in march there will be more game modes opened which of course will attract more skilled players.
