What about Enemy Territory?
Sunday, 23 November 2008

Written by Dwayne M.,

Only a few days ago Epsilon eSports has announced the addition of a new team to the organisation. The team is composed of various players who have succesfully played on top level in the scene for multiple years. Therefore Epsilon is sure the team will be a great addition to the organisation.

The only question however is, what is Enemy Territory in fact? What is the gameplay like? What are the players like whom are in the community? What is the competitive part like?

These answers are able to be answered rather easy, but they are however all quite monotonous. The Enemy Territory scene has lately experienced some dramas which have caused a big mess in the scene itself. The community members have been screaming and scattering unwise words, stating the game is close to being dead, whilst the community has a lack of rest.

The scene is more than active and this is also expressed in the amount of bans which are regularly updated on websites. Nearly 2 years ago the game got shocked because of a large cheating scandal, as one of the community heads was succesfully able to enter the private database of a respectively large cheating distribution company.

This has caused the community to keep on moving and lately the scene was once again shocked as a few players, whom had been around for ages already, had confessed to have cheated in a few matches. The question whether it will be the end for the game is however a tough one, there is though one thing guaranteed -> The game is fun to play.

We from Epsilon however need some people whom desire to write about this game. Are you this motivated, organised and talented writer whom is able to devote plenty of time to this website, together with being well capable to communicate verbal and non verbal in the English language?

If so, do not hesitate to contact our head of news at: dwaynee [dot] live [dot] nl.
Or leave a message at his bouncer in #Epsilon - Epsilon`Dwayne.
