Epsilon's Counter Strike: Source team has reached the final of ESL's Summer Elite Cup, which not only provides some silverware for the winners but also grants them automatic qualification for the next Major Series. This means that the winner will get put straight through to the group stages EMS rather than playing through the qualification rounds.
Their opponents are oneway, who after being knocked out by redLine in the first round of the brackets, have come all the way through the losers bracket, beating teams such as iGamerZ, oXmoze and emuLate.
A few weeks ago, our Battlefield 2 team recorded a showmatch for CTRL TV which is due for broadcast on Digital Television in early 2009! In this match we took on the German team Authentix on Strike at Karkand and came out comfortable winners. Fortunately you don't have to wait to see the show broadcast on TV, as an early edit of this segment can be seen over on the CTRL TV website by clicking on the "demo" of eSports Mag and watching The Match segment. Of course if you have any feedback about the show we're happy to hear it in the comments and it will be passed on to the producers!
